No Parasols (XML tuning mod) by Consort

Parasols suck. I don't want Sims using parasols because it looks very silly.

What this mod does
It makes Sims not use parasols

What this mod really does
This is an XML tuning mod.
-It sets the temperature threshold when to use the umbrella object to protect the sim from heat from 90 to 9000°F
-It reduces the random chance of females using the parasol/umbrella as an accessory from 10 to 1 %

What's my temperature? Script Mod to check Household Temperature Values by Nona Mena

There's no reason to rely on dodgy moodlets to be informed about your sim's temperature. With this mod installed, you will be able to click on any sim and instantly get a report detailing the temperature of all sims in the target sim's household.

Important Details:
Requires the Sims 3 Seasons Expansion Pack
This mod was built with patch 1.42 and will not run on any lower patch level.

Compatibility:
This is a pure script mod and has little to no chances of ever conflicting with any other mod ever.

Greenhouse Roof Overrides - cut the floor themselves by Inge

These no longer require the invisible floors, they cut the floor or flat roof by themselves.  I also took the opportunity to make them stay after sims are evicted - after all you don't take your greenhouse roof with you when you move

NB:  You need to have purchased this set from the Store in order for this override to work!!

The long awaited Seasons Expansion has finally arrived and many Simmers are off enjoying the new weather in The Sims 3.
I planned this pack back in August when Seasons was first announced and at last, it's finished! Introducing the "Fun With Seasons" Sports Pack!
This pack contains 3 full-time careers (Snowboarding, Football and Basketball) and 6 Afterschool Activities for both teens and children (Swimming, Rollerskating, Iceskating, Football, Basketball and Snowboarding)!

Invisible Floor Cutout Rugs by Inge

The greenhouse roof lets in rain!

Now you can place an invisible floor beneath it to keep your plants warm and toasty!   These are rugs that look like glass in buy mode, but turn invisible in live mode, and cut out the floor you place them on.  They also act like windows so the room below will be flooded with natural light in the daytime.

$5 each in the Rug section of your catalog.

Sims Enhanced Pack by Thalassicus

This pack improves Sims 3 balance, difficulty curve, and cost-benefit comparisons. For example, let's look at balance. Players quickly discover the dominant strategies for each of these parts of the game:
The Moodlet Manager can reset needs for any sims.
Ambrosia eliminates the challenge from dealing with mood.
Never Dull gets rid of the challenge of interactions between sims.
These are much more powerful than other solutions for needs, mood, and interactions. Balancing the power of these strategies with alternate choices makes the game more fun and challenging. In addition to solving those obvious problems, I carefully adjusted other moodlets and rewards to make overall gameplay a little more complex, exciting, and thoughtful. This approach differs from other mods which simply raise or lower the amount of total mood our sims require for happiness, leaving the fundamental balance issues untouched.

In addition to balance, this pack makes gameplay more intuitive. If you ask people what's important to lead a happy and healthy life, most would probably respond with a list like this (in no particular order):
Food
Sleep
Sex
Excercise
Bathing
Brushing teeth
Friends
Love
Low stress

Minimum Wage/More Realistic Earnings by Madam Doofie

A mod to lower the pay and increase the hours of all Sims 3 Careers. All now start at $8 or less depending on the career track in question and lowers the amount you can get as a raise to 0.04%.

I tried to use my intelligence when reassigning the amounts. For example I kinda figured the Leader of the Free World would earn more than someone working in a diner (no matter what career level), and I believe surgeons earn quite a bit as well. Whereas if you're in the Criminal career track, if you choose to go evil you’ll have to accept a pay drop to begin with. Supervillains don't pay their henchmen very well

I've actually made a couple BIGGER simply because they were things like being a super star or the leader of the free world and I figure that would earn more! Meanwhile things like a fan of Sports earns only a dollar an hour because if being a fan of something earned us money we'd all be rich.

Environment Lighting Tweaks V2.0 Released by Buhudain

Changes in v2.0

Seasons Compatible. Also working fine without seasons. Any game patch version compatiable.
Sunlight and ambient light at sunrise and sunset were desaturated a little to be more natural, especially on the snow.

Sunlight color at sunset turned into orange too early in v1.2. Modified.
Darkened the sunlight, ambient light a little and clouds a lot in stormy weather.
LowerBloom setting adjusted very little for less bloom.
Added new "Middle sized sun and moon" setting.

Invisible Sim Fixer Mod by Consort

I made a tiny little mod that attempts to fix the new invisible Sim glitch that is haunting some players since the Supernatural patches.

Problem
Sometimes you see - or don't see - invisible Sims in the game. Their thought and speech bubbles seem to come out of the ground.

How to use the Mod
-Click on the Floor
-Select "Fix Invisible Sims"

What is the Mod doing?
The mod tells all Sims in a 20 meter radius to change into the outfit category they are currently wearing.
This refresh can take a couple of seconds and hopefully the invisible Sims reappear.
